When I start my PS3 it tries to update and I get error code 8002F13e, which I know I have to formal my hdd and it'll take care of it. I'm using this as an opportunity to switch to PS3ita. I somewhat have an understanding of how to do it, but I thought I'd ask before messing with it. I believe that to switch firmware I have to.

1) install the 3.55 ps3updat.pup
2) install the new firmware (PS3ita 4.70)
3) install spoofer for ps3ita

I already have rebug toolbox, web man and multiman installed as well as the spoofer for rebid d Rex (which I can not delete because my PS3 is stuck on an update loop).

Any help with the matter would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

First you've to install 3.55 dex downgrader and make sure there is no cd in blue ray. After that, install any ps3ita.
