Could someone link me to an UP TO DATEtutorial on how to downgrade from 4.70.1 DEX REBUG CFW to 3.55 DEX CFW? I am admittedly scared to brick my PS3.

EDIT: I remember qa toggling my PS3, because I have Toggle QA on my PS3. I also remember hearing 3 beeps. However, when I press the button combo while hovering over Network Settings, nothing happens. I do have Debug Settings though. Have I done it correctly? :/

Put either the rogero downgrader or the rebug downgrader on your USB in these files PS3>UPDATE>rogero/rebug downgrader (rename to PS3UPDAT.PUP(PUP should be the file extension)) make sure USB is Formatted to FAT32. Plug USB into ps3 and either update thru xmb option or go into recovery mode

Then once on 3.55 qa toggle the. Go on to rogero 3.55 v7a or rebug 3.55.4 Rex then update to fw of ur choice

Or if you are on dex use the dex downgrader

Okay, so what your saying is, since I'm on 4.70.1 rebug DEX, I get the DEX downgrader and once I'm on that FW, I QA toggle and I go to 3.55.4?

Nono if you are on dex just go onto dex downgrader. Then go back to dex fw of your choice. Using rogero 3.55 v7a is just for CEX CONSOLES SAME WITH REBUG 3.55.4 REX you should just be able to goto 3.55 with the dex downgrader then update to dex fw of your choice

I'm confused. So what you are saying is all I need to do is use the DEX downgrader and I'm on 3.55? I want to stay on 3.55 as there are alot of things that are not available for later CFW's

Hmmm I'm not sure about dex 3.55 if you we're on cex u could have gone to kmeaw but as for dex I'm really not sure sorry


As for the qa toggle I'm not sure it applies to dex fws as on dex debug settings are already there
