When i enter the toggle QA rebug pkg it doesn't beep but leave a black screen infinitely. Any help? i can't update to 3.55 rogero 3.7 cause it says an error guessing cause of the toggle needed.

nope didnt work in recovvery cause it didnt find it..says 9.99 or later no applicable update found
and for xmb install says the same error 8002F169 the ps3 reads the update in xmb and accepts it via xmb but when it goes to the second download to get prepared it says that error.

try installing the firmware again and then toggle qa

problem solved. Blue ray needed to be connected.

Yeah I installed 3.55.4 rebug rex in recovery mode with my blu ray connected
Heres how I did it
- Connect blue ray
- Toggle QA pkg (wasn't working before because somehow the console needs the blue ray to make pkgs work)
- install 3.55.4 rebug in recovery mode or xmb
Then I went rebug 4.70 rex
This was a CECH-2001A
When I did my other ps3 (CECH 2501B) it worked fine without blueray
