NextGenUpdate

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I need to spoof my mac address however I don't want to downgrade and do all that hassle just to change it and then it gets banned later on again.
So I was wondering if anyone can confirm that this tutorial works?

If not is there any way to spoof your mac on dex without downgrading/switching to cex?

Well yes unspoof but its worth a think before hand anyways proceed if you want to and get back to me so i can proceed to assist you. Smile

Do I HAVE to unspoof before downgrading. I think I'm just on regular PST ITA 4.50 DEX it says it in the CFW Setup v4.9.9 screen
"CFW PS3ITA 4.50 DEX (Spoofed to 4.70)"

What do you mean recovery? Can't I just install it from system update in the xmb? That's how the guy in the tutorial did it.
Do you have a Skype I can contact you on? It would be easier to communicate.

You can do. But its more stable through recovery. Turn off your Playstation 3 (the red LED is still turned on). Hold the power button down, to completely turn off your console. Keep holding the power button down until you hear a beep followed by 2 consecutive beeps. Then once in recovery just click update system. and plug your usb in the right port of your ps3 (next to disk drive)
