(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hello, i jailbroke my ps3 slim edition. i installed 4.70 dex rebug. the system would freeze on startup. after unplugging it about 5 times it would start fine and i could use the machine with no problems. i could turn the machine off and 5 minutes later it woulf turn back on. but if i let it sit for 20 minutes it would freeze on the black boot screen. i have done all settings in recovery except restore ps3. i converted the machine to 4.70 habib cobra and i am still having the same issue. i have enabled the boot mode to release mode and that did not fix it. i have replaced thermal compound and swapped out power cords. to get the machine to turn on i must boot into recovery mode and select restart system. Can somebody please help me fix this problem.

Try restoring the system as it may be corrupted, if that doesn't work try a diff HDD.
