(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); so i went to play WAW the other day and you need to be in release mode in order to do so (i was on 4.70.1 D-rex)

when i went into release mode and rebooted this PS3 went into recovery saying install firmware version 4.70 or higher

i re-installed my FW (4.70.1 D-rex) and my entire PS3 was formatted to complete factory settings.

i have resolved it all now and it is all back up and running but i was just wondering why the heck it happened

Hmmm, so you're saying you got it into release mode after resolving the issue, or you still aren't able to, still? I wondering that it might have to do with your system being on both cex and dex at once? Might want to have a look in the rebug toolbox, and make sure the ps3 is set to dex fully. I've never had this issue, and I hope it's a one-time issue.

i placed my PS3 into release mode and when i rebooted it that caused the issue
