Not sure why I keep getting this ? All files correctly named ect ect.. I don't think I've ever seen it ask for 4.55 or hight after a flash ?

Is the USB formatted to FAT32? Also, is your file path usb_000/PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP?

Yes it is. It's been awhile from the last time I have done this but, I've checked it all everything seems to be in order ? I just can't remember if I use to get a install 3.55 after the flash or the original firmware version IE. The 4.55 this was on ? I can't seem to resolve this one ?

Relflash your console! you clearly didnt patch you flash so its not letting you downgrade
