Post: How to downgrade rebug firmware

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Im still new at jailbreaking and modding...im on rebug 4.75 rex and i want to downgrade to 4.70...how do i go about doing this?

Just install 4.70 over 4.75

You don't downgrade to a lower firmware by simply installing over it. That can cause a brick. You would need to use a Rebug Downgrader to downgrade then go to 3.55 CFW, then QA Flag on 3.55, then you can go up to 4.70 to be safest.

Meh worked for me when I transferred from 4.70 DEX to 4.65 DEX without downgrading to 3.55 DEX but I guess downgrading is safer. Might be because you guys are talking about CEX in which case I forgot everything about CEX besides spoof.

This is only if you did not set the QA flag before. Once set you can upgrade/downgrade Rebug at will.
