Post: Overheating+Max Fan

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi NGU,
I recently bought a 3.55 PS3. My problem is that it sometimes glitches out and the display freezes. I fixed this, luckily, by using the control fan utility to cool it down to max out the fan speed. My questions are how quickly will this damage my ps3 or wear down the fan and how can I prevent the artefacts appearing without maxing out the fan speed? (I am not an extremely techy guy so could please give me a very noob-friendly tut and if I need anything it needs be as cheap as possible and in AUD currency)
Kind Regards,
Sam
