You cannot change game region by disk. (You actually can, but only the param.sfo (the title))

For the splitted file. Transfer them all in a same folder in your PS3. Like dev_hdd0>packages. Then run MM. Go to "Settings", "Install packages files" if all your splitted files are correctly transfered, you should have an only file (Wich is your game). Hit the install button (I think its square, but I dont remember..) Mm will start working.. its compiling.. so let him work. When done, You will be redirected to "Install packages files" then hit the install button again and now something will pop up. Hit yes. You will be redirected to XMB. Now go to install packge files (from your XMB) and install your game. Done.

Note: You may have 2 files inside of "Install packages files" from XMB. If so they are the same, you dont need to install them both. One will do. This is just a little bug or something I dont know.

You can not modify a BluRay disc and that is why you need to copy it first to change regions.

The split file will be rejoined by multiMan if you copy the game to your internal drive. If your external is FAT32 it can not hold files over 4Gb so they get split into smaller pieces. Just copy the game to internal and run from there.
