(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Is it worth it by updating to rebug 4.75.3 D-Rex on cobra mode? or just stick with 4.70.1 D-Rex Cobra mode? (IK I have to convert back to cex to update or downgrade from the firmware) ResistTheSun

You do not have to go back to CEX. Rebug has 2 update.dat files. One is Rex and the other is D-Rex. There is no difference between the 2 except one is used to install if you are currently on CEX and the other is if you are currently on DEX. Once installed they are the same CFW.

As far as is it worth upgrading, does it have something you want that is not in the other?

I wanted to get the new Cobra Version for dex and update my CCAPI Rev5 to the firmware.

I don't use Cobra so I have no idea if it is any better, sorry. I am runng Rebug in DEX mode so I have no use for CCAPI either.

I personally only update when forced to, other people need the latest to feel up to date. I have had CFW since day one. I ran a 3,55 CFW until I needed DEX then I went to Rebug 4.46.1. A couple of days ago I went to Rebug 4.75.3 so I can complete a project and I may go back to 4,46 when I am done due to lost functionality.

If you should update or not is a personal question only you can answer. Myself I limit the number of firmware changes as much as I can to avoid risking bricks. Others like to keep up with the latest even if it means some homebrew no longer works, and yet others are in between they want the latest but wait for any problems that arise are fixed first.

The fact you are asking means you probably will update as that question will not go away until you do. Smile
