I'm going to be to a noob and thats why I have some questions for you known modders/hackers or anyone that knows a lot about Jailbreaks. For you guys wondering what firmware I'm going to be on PS3ita 4.50 DEX.

Here are some of my questions.. Answer them them in the same form I'm asking them. Please and thank you!

Q1: How do I become more known in the community?
Q2: What are some good places to learn how to make sprx menus, eboots, etc.
Q3: What are some good advertising techniques?
Q4: How can I build a successful shop?
Q5: What kind of things are people looking for? Like types of recoveries?
Q6: What types of recoveries charge more?
Q7: Any cool things to do on a Jailbreak besides modding the shit out of games?
Q8: Any better firmwares than Ps3ita 4.50 DEX
Q9: What types of things can I do to make my console id to last longer?

If any of you guys do vita color, and are generous hit me up I don't need it but want it for the new account I created ^^

Your shop will look fabulous due to my l33t gfx skillz.

Q1 = Develop and release stuff. And help people when they are in need. Be nice etc. Just generally get active.

Q2 = look around on the web. Also the local library can be a good start.

Q3 = make sure you are friendly. Buy elite and make a shop on ngu. If you have skype spam it out in groupchats. Make a YouTube and get active on that, then make a website and sell stuff on that.

Q4 = well sell things that people are looking for. Try get the best prices and offer discounts, try get as many vouches as possible to help get yourself trusted, and have quick responses and have good customer service. And do bulk deals for cheaper.

Q5 = well it all depends. Probably mostly cod Recovery's and clan modding (this is where Skype comes in handy, lots of clans spam out shit in group chats) and GTA lobby's as well that is popular. And of course azza lobbies again for the trickshotting community's and hosting mod menus gets the kids excited as well.

Q6 = well doing trophy syncs can be expensive and modding the newer cods as they have a greater ban risk. And also if you mod Xbox things in there tend to be more expensive like azza lobbies and such.

Q7 = well you can get free dlc for games and can also play emulated games. And I think (not sure) you can have a different OS like Linux run on your ps3. And also the ability to customise your ps3 xmb. Like get a different coldboot. And different waves and also different psn ball which always looks cool. And also a different font of text.

Q8 = Well personally I use 4.50ita dex and don't have any problems with it. But rebug is also nice I suppose.

Q9 = spoof your console id by using home brew such as psn patch and wipe history with PS ninja. Or by enabling OFW mode on ccapi. Also do not mod the newer call of duty's (AW, Ghosts, Bo3 when it comes out), and where possible use antiban. Also make sure you get fully private and unshared Cid's (don't ask for here on NGU as Cid talk is prohibited)

Q1 Answer: Always be helpful and release stuff like mod menus and modding tools. I started out by posting my MW2 patches here.
Q2 Answer: Here, YouTube, or just search on Google/Bing.
Q3 Answer: Make good deals, don't spam everywhere saying you have a shop. Also make your post look unique and always be nice.
Q4 Answer: Q3 Answer.
Q5 Answer: Recoveries and/or modded lobbies.
Q6 Answer: Full packages such as things like Unlock All, high rank, high stats, etc.
Q7 Answer: Get sh*t for free and explore your PS3.
Q8 Answer: It depends on what you're looking for in a CFW. I like to use Rebug 4.70 DEX because it's easy to use and Rebug firmwares are very stable.
Q9 Answer: Don't mod too much or expose yourself. Get Homebrew apps like PSNPatch and PSNinja. You can also change your CID with CCAPI.

Tip: Stay on CEX until you fully understand the concepts of CFW and how they work. Then you can switch to DEX.

Also your CID will always last unless you do some stupid sh*t repeatedly.
