So I wanted to what would be the quickest and easiest for me without bricking my ps3. I'm on 4.55 rogero cex obviously.

Also there is no easy or quick way to do it because there is always a risk of bricking. You can only follow tutorials to the letter and read through tutorials repeatedly before attempting anything.

Again that tut says you must be on rebug.

Why is Rebug a problem for you or something?

You have not mentioned anything in the OP about not wanting to be on any other CFW.

Besides if you install it then convert then you can install either D-Rex or ITA so you would end up swapping CFW anyways.

Oh you are right I thought it meant you had to rebug to convert to dex. Sorry. I'm not new just get confused with all the CFW'S which would you reccomend

I no it can be a pain at first but if there is plenty of decent tutorials out there like the one above it helps.

I think that everyone does indeed go to Rebug in order to convert in the first place but after that you can install which ever DEX based CFW you want to.

I have always used Rebug personally and I tried ITA but changed back to D-Rex not long after lol.

So I downgrade to 3.55 and install rebug 4.70.3 D-rex correct then i can switch to cex whenever I want

In all honesty probably the best bet for you would be to install a REX based Rebug version.

That way you can swap between CEX and DEX when ever you like without having to swap CFW.

So for example if you installed the 4.75.3 REX you could then use IDPset to dump your CEX and DEX dumps and the EID Root Key once that is done you can swap between CEX and DEX without having to install any other CFW as REX & D-REX are the same CFW apart from one gets installed on CEX and the other gets installed on DEX.

So it would be like this:

-------------Flash CEX Dump = CEX
4.75.3 REX|
-------------Flash DEX Dump = DEX

I hope this makes sense if not I will try to explain it a little better
