If it's not Possible to connect through TMAPI, Just switch the Eboot to a CEX Eboot, and Connect through CCAPI.
I don't use TMAPI, I find it troublesome, My Ps3 won't start up on debug Eboot's.

Green light on your console? You mean the power light? & Did you try connecting ProDG Target Manager instead of a tool?
