(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello I was wondering would this help or is there a different problem going on ...so I was on rebug 4.65 dex was on it for a wile was runing pretty good no problems at all with it ... then I changed to rebug D-REX 4.70 and it'd just don't seem the same I wondering is it because the way it was installed I not to sure if even did it right heard that All had to do was put the 4.70 file on usb and update it through system update..but I also heard that it should be done through recovery mode since I changed to 4.70.... it not the same ps3 always crashes for no reason it don't over heat it would even crash when I'm not even playing a game in the xmb menu and on start up it would freeze even xmb is always laggy and other problems with games been laggy..... I don't think its my Internet I can never connect tools either sometimes they just work when they want they connect and attach perfect but just don't work then I just wondering would reinstalling 4.70 the proper way help or is it a different problem if I do gota reinstall it could someone give me a bit of advice please to do it the correct way like would I have to downgrade or anything like that as I'm not sure sorry about the big long mesge and if it's in the wrong section just wana try get the problem sorted any help would be grateful

few questions:

did you have a spoofer installed?

CEX or DEX?

have you tried to re-install via recovery?

have you updated all your PKG's as some may cause stability issues if they dont work with 4.70?

have you tried to format the PS3 (wipe all data)?

what mods do you use on game (only one example) as some may just be unstable or outdated?

have you tried to rebuild database?

my actual advise:

try to re-install via recovery and re-build database. if this dont work then check the PKG's that you use and check compatibility and whether or not they need cobra payload. if some are not compatible with 4.70 remove them or look for an update.

if nothing works then im afraid to say it, but try re-formatting it, make sure you keep the games safe and know your account details as you lose EVERYTHING

I haven't tried reinstalling it through recovery I did it through system update first time I did it.....

All my pkgs are all up to date have lastest versions....

I.mostly use the paid sprxs on gta and eboot with mods in black ops 2 there all perfect there no bugs or nothing really to do with them the sprx is riptide ultra it's very stable and maggots rpf I only use mostly api in that script....

Yes I did that it still didn't make any difference....

I only really use multiman psnpatch and psnija and ccapi..
As in formatting it do you mean by downgradeing and reinstalling a new cfw

okay,

try re-installing via recovery menu just to make sure as it could just be a bad install or even bad download (you can check the MD5 for a bad download), and did you remove your spoof before installing a new CFW?

thos PKG's would cause too much on a stability side so there isn't any need to do anything with those.

when i say format, i mean complete format in the recovery menu, it will remove EVERYTHING of your PS3 and format the HDD, you can then move on to re-installing your 4.70 (it doesn't downgrade you it's just to clear all the stuff format doesn't) and then it will literally just be your FW but that would be an absolute last resort if im honest with you.

ya i ended up upgradeing to rebug 4.75.3 it seems to be alot better its just do i need to spoof it now or no to 4.76 i can with sen but theres 2 spoofs other one is 9.99 i dont know what that one is never used it

DEX consoles don't need anything, they can sign in from 4.75 upwards, so if you are on 4.75.3 then just use that to sign in, no need to spoof your FW version. make sure you doo all the other stuff like PSninja and disable syscalls....
