Post: Lan/FTP/CCAPI Issues [Please Help]
09-16-2015, 02:32 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I have an ftp server on my ps3. When I try to connect to it and it times out as if the server isn't running. I'm having a similar issues with ccapi in that it wont connect. Everything is installed correctly and I'm using the right ip address. I've even tried to connect with another computer. Im running on windows 8 64 bit and my ps3 is on cfw 4.75 rebug spoofed to 4.76. An issue that might be related is that I cant lan on minecraft using the built-in feature. I believe the problem is with the router. Could it me some sort of anti lan setting? Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Smile

A customer support guy's response:
"Try turning it off then back on again"

Does the PS3 have full access to the internet?
What kind of router do you have?

Try turning the media server off/on under network settings to see if it works. (Or if you don't have this setting, then skip this).

Everything has been restarted already. Its almost certainly a router issue. (firmware has been updated and its been reset). Ps3 has full access to the internet and can play online. I went on my router and saw that my ps3 is connected to my router but it has "--" where its ip is supposed to be... Just ran the setup wizard for the router and it fixed it? Im not even sure thats what fixed it because i dont know why it would as i reset it previously and it was still not working. Thanks for the help though! The ps3 now has an ip according to the router and it matches the one displayed on the ps3.
