So, my PS3 on HDMI goes into no signal then a black screen and loops that over and over and won't even go to a proper screen when put in safe mode. It works fine on AV but the 480p is kinda... ew.
After being in the no signal loop for a few minutes, it gets a very weird warped rainbow screen.

Please help me fix this, thanks! -Michael

I am not sure if you tried it, but try resetting the video for the ps3... Turn off the ps3, plug the hdmi in, press & hold power button until the second beep & release, At this point you should get the screen saying HDMI found.
