First off, not all PS3 Models can be downgraded. You can check You must login or register to view this content.site to see whether or not your PS3 can be downgraded. The minimum downgrade version must be 3.55 in order to jailbreak. The easiest and cheapest is to send the PS3 to a downgrade service such as Craigslist and they will downgrade it for you. Some people steal the CID off of the PS3 when they flash it so make sure you can trust the person. These downgrade services go for about $50 compared to if you were going to do it yourself, you would need soldering skills, taking apart the PS3, and then buying an E3 Flasher which is $60-$120.

I live in the uk which will prob be harder tbh because it will cost extra to send it there. Would it be worth it to buy a new 3.55 version PS3 on eBay n then get the cFW
