Not that much used to a E3 I would get my old friend to do but I no longer have contact with him. Any help ? Is the clip not on properly ?

9/10 it's the chip that not on correctly. However for you, did you update the E3 flasher with the appropriator update for example the Samsung update and the other to do multiple PS3?

you need to apply pressure or your chip is not clipped in or meant to go the other way round

Till my clip broke i used the old coin trick. Simply clip on the clip on the nor and put a coin on the top of the clip and tape it down with duck tape or scotch tape if that's all you got. This may take a few tries but I rarely had issues once i started using coins !
