i've got a jailbroken ps3 (phat) running rebug 4.75.1 and I just really want to know these things and how to use it:

so first off I want to know how to access online the easiest way with the least ban risk. I know about apps such as PSNpatch and PSninja, but could someone explain what each of them do, which i should use for my firmware and the process i would need to follow for everytime i power on my ps3? Links supported and appreciated!!

secondly, after I know how to go online, how do i use CCAPI in the effort of applying mod menus? I understand how to connect the ps3 and all, I just want to know what files to use in order to RTM. I have downloaded a couple of mod menus for various games such as GTA 5, COD BO2, etc. and one extension is .sprx and the other is .gsc. How do i inject these menus into the game with multiman/disc?

thirdly, since i don't want to use my old ps3's account just because i don't want the risk of getting banned on the account, im going to use my jailbroken ps3 with another account, which means i wont have my downloads and updates. Do I need to re-download map packs and install them manually from the internet? also for GTA, how do i update the game to the right version online? do i just let it run naturally? The main thing here is how do i update my games: do i just use it with psninja or another program and let it update that way?

fourth, when im looking for mod menus, do i look for the version of the game, or do i look for the version of my jailbreak (aka GTA 5 MOD MENU 1.26 or REBUG 4.75)?

Lastly, can anyone suggest some good looking RTM mod menus for both GTA 5 and CoD BO2 for the latest update and the version im on?

Most of those are up to each person, however here is my personal suggestions:

PSNinja and PSNPatch will clear the 'sys' calls which is what custom firmwares / jailbroken consoles use for common stuff. It clears them so Sony or game developers can't detect they've been modified. Both of them also clear history, of what you've done on your PlayStation 3. I would suggest Webman over both of those two, as Webman has ability to do this automatically each time you start your PlayStation 3, including spoofing console id. However, the console id has to be 'legit' to get online.

Since you are asking for CCAPI, you'll need to download ccapi.pkg on your PlayStation 3 if it's not there already. Then install the installer on your computer. There are plenty of tutorials to guide you on this, if you do some more research. - Cough, You must login or register to view this content.

When your PlayStation 3 is jailbroken, you'll be able to get 'any' games for free as long as you find the download for them. Most people download games through Torrents (ThePirateBay). You'll have to download all the games and maps you need, if you do not want to add your 'main' account to your PlayStation 3 and download it from there.

I would suggest to have two different accounts, as I got my self my main account banned which I had for over 5 years rip.

For mod menus for GTA, you'll have to look for the latest update. There is two things to note:
- Make sure that the GTA 5 Update fits the one mod menu you are downloading.
- SPRX Mod Menus only work for DEX.
- Update.rpf, Script.rpf, scripts will work for CEX & DEX.

In my opinion you should swap to DEX, which is quiet easy on 4.70+ REX (Rebug).

And as of mod menus, I think you should look into Serendipity. This menu costs $15.00, but has everything you need. That also includes install support, even through Team Viewer if necessary (!). You can read more about this mod menu You must login or register to view this content..
