There is no such thing as a 100% secure way of not getting banned.
Being on DEX shouldn't increase your ban chances either.
However, use things like in-game anti bans (different for each game, this will prevent game bans).
Don't use homebrew applications when signed in and use something like psnpatch or sen enabler to clear history.

I use CEX but it should be the same ban rate as DEX. I use rebug too. I would suggest using PSNPatch or PSNinja to decrease the likelihood of getting banned. If you're playing games like BO2, use an AntiBan EBOOT to decrease your ban rate by a lot. I haven't gotten and banned I have been modding blatantly online for a week or so.

Im on 4.70.1 D-REX and tbh, i only use webMAN for the fan options and delete history files on start-up.
I dont use PSNinja nor PSNpatch, used to but then i discovered webMAN & seeing as i only used PSNinja to delete history and disable CFW syscalls, i noticed webMAN does it for you on boot haha, might just be me being lazy but its much quicker.
Also when on GTA i do use ControlConsoleAPI to spoof my CID & PSID to a banned one but tbh i dont really know if this works as when you log into PSN, your real CID is logged straight away anyway but i havent been banned in 4 months now doing things the way i do them but like Stack said and so many others will too, theres no 100% way of being secure. It all boils down to how you use the CFW & how you go about in lobbies. Act like a douche and you'll get banned possibly real quick!
