Ok. Like I said earlier after I flash my PS3 doesn't go back to its regular screen. It ask for system software 4.76 or later. I've checked and it says I can downgrade to 3.20. I don't know if it makes a difference but my PS3 one of the slims that GameStop had refurbished and turned into the 500gb supercharged PS3

Same here. Every console on 4.76 that I've downgraded has done this. You need to install 3.55 Rogero Downgrader RSOD (9.99). Then install Rogero CEX 3.55 CFW V3.7. From there, you can install any CFW you want using the System Update from XMB. I go from Rogero to Rebug REX and then convert from CEX to DEX with all my consoles. Some folks say that you can go straight to 3.55 OFW instead of Rogero CEX 3.55 CFW V3.7, but that method has given me a bit of trouble on one or two consoles. If you decide to go straight to OFW, you'll need to do so from the recovery menu (not via System Update in XMB). I suggest using Condor Updater. Also ensure there's no disc in the drive prior to proceeding with any updates.
