Yes, you must be on 3.55 OFW to install any CFW. If you are not on 3.55, you must downgrade.

The other 3.55 CFWs are for backups only and emulators, not playing online. Kmeaw works best when you want to go to a higher firmware.

Hi sorry for the delay, Ive been console banned for some time now and i couldn't be bothered to buy another cid as im going to buy a xbox one soon so i want to experiment with other cfws and stuff.

Because kmeaw is the go-to firmware when jailbreaking a console. Once you're on 3.55 CFW, you can QA flag it and update to any 4.xx CFW.

Wow! I never knew this, once my 3.55 ps3 from ebay comes in I'll be sure to download the kmeaw firmware. I need to be online.
