(p.s before I modified the EBOOT everything was working fine. I was able to load up and start the game ONLINE).

So yesterday, I put in my GTA 5 disc and backed it up to MULTIMAN (BLES01807). It was a 17GIG file and backed up completley. I proceeded to add the game to XMB then applied PSN patch and BAM! I was loaded and online! By the way I should say I downloaded all the .pkg file updates for GTA up until 1.25. GTA installed its files and it was all good.

I then attempted to apply the tesseract mod menu .sprx and EBOOT.BIN. I stayed up all of last night trying to find a good EBOOT but no luck. The game wont load and says an error has occured during the start operation. If I replace it with the original EBOOT i won't be able to mod right? SO the question here is: How do I boot up GTA 5 from MULTIMAN with a good mod menu (dosent have to be the tesseract) on version 1.25?


secondly, whenever it fails to boot up and I head back to MULTIMAN, it gives me an error saying MULTIMAN can not enable BD-ROM emulator. Unsupported firmware type.

I have to keep restarting my ps3 and then enabling BD-ROM over again (won't work the first time, says BD-ROM is unavalible).

So does anyone have a fix for this?

P.s my PS3 says the firmware is 4.75 OFW even though i've flashed it with Rebug 4.75 and installed a 4.76 spoofer. Is there a fix for this or is this perfectly normal?

You can't go back to Multiman after enabling PSNPatch, it messes with the Settings. That is why BD-ROM Emulator turns off. Secondly, have you tried any other EBOOTs? Also, since you are on REX, try renaming The Tesseract GTAMenu.sprx and using that EBOOT again. Make sure it isn't the Debug EBOOT. Make sure it is the Script Bypass EBOOT.
