By saying backup I am not quite sure what you mean, but if you intend to backup said folder to another storage device for the sake of having safe copies or restoring console I would suggest transferring to an external hdd?

I personally don't believe a backup would include all the games, but I am not sure. Like I said before I would recommend just backing them up on an external hdd through multiman or something.
