Okay, so last night I started having some error issues in terms of loading games. I wasn't even using games installed on my HDD and I'd get the 80028f14 error. The weirdest part was I was getting the error when just scrolling through the XMB.
After a while, I decided to restore the file system to factory default. I left my PS3 on all last night and when the restore finished, I still had the error. Then, I decided I should try to reinstall my CFW so I downgraded via Rogero Downgrader and installed Kmeaw 3.55. After that, I updated my PS3 back to REBUG 4.75.3. Once I started installing my PKGs, my PS3 just randomly froze. I tried restarting the system and it kept freezing right after the boot logo.
I decided maybe I should try reformatting my HDD from my Laptop. 3 hours later, after reformatting my drive to FAT32, I tried to install every firmware I have and keep getting the "The data is corrupted (8002F2C5) error."
Does anyone know how to fix this? I really can't stand this bull crap anymore and I just want this nightmare to be over with. My OFW was 3.40 when I first got the PS3 and I even tried installing that to no success. Help... Please?
Update: Everything has been fixed a while ago, I just never got around to updating the thread.
