Oh yeah i cant use safe mode because my stupid controller will only connect wireless

I believe that if you only get a black screen, it could maybe be your display. Try holding the power until it beeps twice, which resets your PS3 display settings.

no.... it didnt work it mabye my hardrive cuz i got it to work before

Unplug PS3 power and hdmi cable for 10 sec then plug back see PS3 back on.
If that doesn't work reset ur video setting by turning off ur PS3 and Press and hold the I/0 button until it beeps twice.

Try accessing the recovery menu. I know you can't because it's wireless but you can try to find a cable that works... I don't want to have you resort to buying a new HDD.
