There is no 4.79 firmware so you must mean 4.76 which you can't without a device called an E3 Flasher to downgrade the firmware to 3.55 to jailbreak it but it will involve opening your PS3 up and taking it apart so if you don't feel comfortable with that then you can get someone who knows what they're doing to do it.

Not all models of the PS3 Slim are downgradable. What model is your PS3? You can check the serial number on the back of the PS3 and it should be CECH-xxxxx.
