(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I actually am posting this a little late. Basically, I DLed the DUPLEX edition of GTA V, installed it, (was an idiot here) let it update, replaced eboot/update.rpf and then bam, console ban. I've bought a new ID, and am basically just waiting on it, but when I do have it, some guidance from existing modder would be GREATLY appreciated.

Game region BLES
Firmware Rebug 4.75.3 DEX mode
Multiman latest revision
Senenabler latest edition
CCAPI latest edition

Thanks guys Happy

Did u block sites in your router to keep sony from snooping your console? Were you signed in running homebrew apps?

No, I didn't block any addresses through my router, and no I was not running homebrew apps while signed in.

But the issue isnt trying to find out WHY I'm banned, its to get a step by step, definitive process for running mods on GTA V as of the updates and security fixes right now, SO THAT I DON'T get banned after I get my new ID

apparently the issue IS why you got banned... you didnt get cid banned from just loading gta 1 time... theres many people here that run gta with mods and dont get banned... blocking sites in your router helps reduce a sony ban, and such...

you know best though, ive been in your boat before, havent been banned since, good luck

I guess I probably could've mentioned I did successfully play online. Then after went back, went to multi man, transferred files from flash drive, cleared history with sen enabler, loaded the game. And went to sign in, that's what I got.

you went to multiman signed in or out, i take it out, but if you bought your cid it coulda been resold, or if you bought the console used, the prev owner coulda sold the cid also... or just bad luck... i took every precaution after my first ban, ie blocking sites, spoofing, etc

thats what happened to me, i was signed in when i got banned, logged out and back in and boom, banned.

I was signed out. I don't use homebrew while signed into psn.

But I assure you, this was actually a virgin console. Not even opened. I did the patch myself with a flasher.

But thank you for bringing that to my attention. I'll keep it in mind since this is the first console ID I've purchased.

Good question though, I've got a dead PlayStation as well, and I also jb that one. Same scenario, virgin console. But reflow attempts (carefully controlled and monitored) failed to fix broken solder joints. It was semi functional when I got it, and I guarantee it will work with a flasher of i can just find a way to get the damn cid from it. I've soldered a wire between the nor_tristate and the closest grounding point. Same situation, powers on, powers off immediately, press button again for standby and repeat.

The console was given to me on 3.50 firmware, it was dead for a couple years before I got it. I mean it's dead now but it worked for months on end
