Make sure your firewall isn't blocking the connection and make sure the ip you typed in on console control is right

Make sure you have the CCAPI 2.60 .pkg and install it to your CFW. Now go to your laptop and try to connect it. Go to your System Settings and look at your PS3 IP to see if it hasn't changed. After, if it still doesn't work, just reset your laptop and PS3 and it should work fine. Problem continues, just quote me so I can help you more.

Install the pkg on your PS3 then run it afterwards. After that check your PS3 ip and type that into CCAPI on your PC when adding a new console. Also make sure you have CCAPI 2.60 installed on both PC and PS3 just incase they're different versions
