I recommend installing kmeaw 3.55 and toggling QA from there. Then upgrade to whatever other CFW you please (ex. Rebug, Ita, Habib, etc.) Then you want to install some homebrew apps (Multiman, PSNinja, PSNPatch, and a Spoofer (if applicable)). After that, to mod GTA, you want to convert it from BLUS to BLES (assuming you don't already have the BLES version of the game (tutorial can be found in the GTA Modding Section)). After that, you can install a menu (modded update.rpf or SPRX). Before you go online you have to go into PSNinja and PSNPatch to reduce your chances of being banned (there's always a chance). That's basically GTA modding in a nutshell. I know there are more detailed tutorials out there but I just scribbled this out quickly; hope it helped.

If i was you, id install a REX CFW as this allows you to switch to DEX in a matter of seconds if youu wanted too & theres more menus for DEX too as its more stable than CEX.
Id watch this tutorial as its alot easier for you to watch it than someone type it all out.



Its up to you what CFW you want, that tutorial is for 4.75.1, but theres also 4.75.2 & 4.75.3 but this is basically showing you how to install a CFW.
If you want 4.75.3, just download it instead of the 4.75.1 he has in his description.
Im personally not on any of these CFWS as im still on 4.70 due to it being able to get online without a spoofer still, so i have no idea what there like, but i have read people using 4.75.3 a lot.

Once you've done this, you can then go about installing menus and all that cool stuff.
Like edub said about modding GTA, thats basically what you do. Its really simple when you've got a CFW running :p

so if i get cfw rebug 4.75.3 Rex will my console think its on the correct fw so i can go online and when i have spoke to gta modders thay have tolled me thay have a anti bann whats this and where can i get it from and if i install a dex 4.75.3 is it easy to find menus for gta and were would be the best place to find them is it as simple as install cfw install multiman install mod menu and then will sony see it or do i need more software to stay undetected by sony can anyone also tell me were i can get a e3 flasher i looked on ebay and they are £37 but i need to wait 2-3 weeks b4 i get it

You will be able to get online by changing something in rebug toolbox i think it is which basically makes Sony believe you are running the right FW or you can use spoofers which do the same thing, make you out to be using the lastest FW. Im actually on 4.70 still, so excuse me if i cant answer anything todo with 4.75.3 when it comes to going online with that CFW.

Only anit-ban i know of is a COD anti-ban EBOOT but if you plan on modding GTA only, there isnt such thing. Whether them anti-ban EBOOTS work on COD, i have no idea, i doubt it because at the end of the day, you are running a CFW. I do know a few people who have still been banned with a so called 'anit-ban' EBOOT.

You need to be on DEX already to install a DEX CFW, thats why i said to install REX first which is for CEX and then you can convert to DEX then & Yes, there are a lot of menus for DEX I always get my mods from here as i trust this site more than other sites tbh. Installing menus is a really easy process but before you start with that, lets get the CFW running first

Tbh, there is no 100% way to stay undetected, there are a few things you can do to kind of help your CID last longer, but banning is always happening. Its all about how you use your CFW and how you act in lobbies tbh.

I cant help you with e3 flashers sorry, ive never had to use one. You can get your PS3 sent off to people who can downgrade it back to 3.55 but these days you can never trust anyone as theres a lot scammers about.

thanks that's really helpful so do i need to be on 4.75 cfw to go online i thaught you did so can i stay on kmeaw3.55 and go online and about the ban so if i stay useing mods with friends who i trust and keep clearing history with psninga i have a low chance of getting banned

You can be on any CFW as long as the spoofer is compatible. Some CFWS dont require a spoofer, you just gotta change a option in Rebug toolbox, pretty crazy!

If i was you, id go on Rebug 4.75.3 as i have heard a lot of people going on that CFW. That will be 4.75.3 REX for you as you'll be on CEX, so you'll need to download that one if you decide to use it.

4.76 spoofers dont support CFWS lower than 4.46 i think it is so you'll need to install a CFW thats not that old, like the one were talking about here

That may possibly make your CID last longer yeah, but its no 100% way. You will get banned eventually but its really easy to unban yourself

so if i download 4.75.3 rex i can use a 4.76 spoofer and to mod gta do i need the disk and were can i download the cfw and spoofer
