(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Im trying to put a 5.6gb files to my ps3 but fat32 usb wont support anything thats over 4gb. If I change it to another format I can put the file on usb but then my cfw cex ps3 wont recognize it if its not fat32. The files is a game file so when I open it itll start downloading so im not sure if splitting will make it work. Thanks in advance for your help.

You can put the package in the following directory via FTP in FileZilla.

/dev_hdd0/packages/[/I]

download this You must login or register to view this content. and drag the file into the program it will split it into 1-2 gb files when done delete the original file and put the split files into a folder on root of usb call it what ever u want
next go to multiman load it up , go to left and click on file manager then ps3 root and find ur usb and the folder u put the split files on next press triangle (ithink) to bring up the directory and press copy

then open another ps3 root and go to HDD0/PACKAGES and paste the folder in there and it will merge them altogether when copied when all done click on the pkg it will take u back to the xmb navigate to install package files and find the pkg and install

If it an actuall game and not just a pkg same step but just watch this

hope this helped.

Use FTP and follow this for faster upload speed. Then you should be able to just install it through your file manager.
