First, you need to be jailbroken. Once you are jailbroken, you can set your PS3 up with either CCAPI or TMAPI. Through one of those, you can connect to the tool in the game and you will be all set. Is your PS3 jailbroken?

If your not Jailbroken then you can use USB mods... however, they are not suggested since if you get banned and your PS3 can't be downgraded then your screwed...

Wait? So your not Jailbroken... you will have to be Jailbroken... there is a risk of being banned on a CFW... but you can just get a new IDPS(CID)... and alternative is using USB mods but that is not suggested...

There is an easier method than this... and it is to use "MinVerCheck"... this tells you the minimum firmware that can be installed on your PS3... Follow the instructions below...

Step 1: Download "MinVerCheck" You must login or register to view this content.

Step 2: Extract the folder using whatever programme you use to extract files such as Winrar...

Step 3: Create a folder called... "PS3", within the "PS3" folder create a sub-folder called "UPDATE"

Step 4: Place the PS3UPDAT.PUP in the update folder...

Step 5: Go to Settings > System Update > Upload Via Storage Media > Click "Ok" once it finished scanning the .PUP and it will tell you the minimum firmware that can be installed on your PS3

What type of PS3 do you have? Is it a Super Slim or Slim or PHAT? Some models can't be jailbroken. All PHAT models can be. Some Slim models cannot be. While Super Slims can't be jailbroken at all.

It's a slim cech 3004b so i can't downgrade it... there is a method to use the recovery tool (for gtav) or it's impossible?

That is not possible. Your slim is model CECH-3004B which cannot be jailbroken.
