(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey whats up guys, so I have this ps3 on MLT 3.55 noBD 9.99, because my bluray drive doesn't work and I'm not planning to repair it or replace it anytime soon. my thing I want to be able to go ps3ita, what steps and wgat cfw can I install on top of MLT 3.55 noBD 9.99, that are compatible with nobd in order for me to convert to ps3ita. I know theres a way but I cant find on this forum. any help would be appreciated.

Well seeing as you have posted a very similar thread from a few months ago I guess you never figured this out?

First off do it safely by downloading a CFW with nobd patch applied that allows you to swap to DEX (I would suggest rebug 4.46.1 Rex)

Then you want to convert from CEX to DEX so you could use any method you like (I prefer IDPSet personally)

Then you can install PS3ita on top of your converted REX CFW.

Just remember to disable the blu ray once you convert to DEX and you should be ok.

Is this not the same PS3 you had on DEX before? If so stop playing around with them and just stay on either CEX or DEX as I have seen a few threads from you asking pretty much similar questions.

no its not the same ps3, what I do is buy ps3s for cheap on craigslist but they nd up being with a bad BD, the last one I was talking about was this one, but never figured out, I also had one a ehile back which I did fix with a tutorial, but it was a while back so I forgot. now what I did is I installed rebug 3.55 downgrader on top of mlts 3.55 and now its in an upodate loop, well now its stuck at 99%, so from here I'm going to see if I can format the hdd, because I tried conneting it to my pc and now its not reading it

Is that not because you used a downgrader which didn't have the nobd patch added on?

You can always try to format and see if that turns out fine. But as I said it is best to go to a REX CFW with the nobd patch installed then convert and vice versa when going from DEX to CEX.

It helps if the console is QA flagged as well but then again if you decide to use IDPSet then that can get the EID for you.

now my pc its mot reading the hdd, what can I do from here? before it would read it, not its not

Are you using any kind of program to read it or just waiting for windows to say it's there?

If it is not showing up by itself have a look in the disk managment on your PC and see if the volume is there but not showing up if that is the case you should be able to format it from that.

ok I got it to format now, thanks, I had the wrong side of the usb connected. now being the hdd formatted, meaning its fresh, what cfw do I put on it? should I put the MLTS 3.55?

Edit* I tried installing the nobd rebug you provided me with and I get a the data is corrupted (8002f157) error, I tried from xmb and also from recovery.
