(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello everyone, I was currently on Rebug D-REX 4.75.3 and I tried to get online with it, but it wasn't working. I watched many tutorials on how to get online on that firmware, but none of it was working for me. So I decided to forget going on DEX and downgrraded back to 3.55 by using the "999" downgrader. Everything worked perfect and now i'm on 3.55 CFW.

What I wanted to then do is go to Rebug REX 4.76 LITE, but I figured out I kept getting some error, which was the 80029CCA error. I even tried installing many different firmwares. On many tutorials it said that I needed to "Toggle QA" on my 3.55 CFW and then download and update it to REGERO 3.55 v3.7, something like that, but I continuously keep getting the error, no matter what happens.

I wonder if this could be the problem? That my LV2 Kernel is on "CEX" and my Target Type is on "DEX" and I can't change these things because I need to install the REBUG firmware and be on the REBUG REX EDITION to access the functions. I also can't change the "Active PS3ID" to DEX nor CEX, it's just stuck on "No"

I was wondering if anyone would possibly know how to fix this, I seriously need help, because this is like a new PS3 I bought like 3-4 weeks ago, and it can't be stuck on this one firmware forever already.

I've been modding for 2 years now and i'm quite experienced, so I should really be able to fix this, but this isn't just working for me... This "error" is seriously taking the piss.

I hope that one person manages to help me and fix this!!

If you still need help I'll try my best to help ( keep in mind I've only had my jailbreak for less than a week myself, but I'm a very fast learner xD ).

I'm on rebug D-Rex 4.75.3 myself and you are able to switch between CEX and DEX using the latest rebug toolbox. So you should try and go back to D-Rex and switch to CEX using the toolbox. I believe the reason you're having those errors is because you're still on DEX FW and can only install DEX FW's ( though no idea if I'm right about that xD ).

Also make sure toggle QA is actually on by pressing L1+L2+R1+R2+L3+DPad down while hovering over the network settings option. If other options appear underneath it you're fine.

Last thing : I was stuck not being able to go online on DEX for a day too, searched around for a long time and tried every solution untill I finally found a thread saying your CID gets changed while going to DEX and you need to turn it back to whatever your original CID was. After having figured this out and fixing it I'm so happy I changed to DEX since I can install so many more working mods ( sprx menus didn't work for CEX . . . atleast not for me and alot of others ) and I don't have to worry about the region anymore !

Hope you get it figured out, and sorry if you already fixed it ! I just want to help others now that I know more about the whole jailbreaking business xD.

Thanks for trying to help man, the thing is that I literally can't upgrade to any firmware, i've tried upgrading to another D-REX Firmware, REX and everything, but it's just not working lol. But i'm glad to see someone who actually responded to my post lol, but thanks again!
