(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi , I recently changed my PS3 from CEX to Dex and the problem that I am having is that , in order for me to go online I have to go on rebug toolbox then go under utilities and change my active ps3id to USE EID5: 84 (CEX) I have to do this everytime I turn my PS3 on .. It gets very annoying and I was wondering is there a way that it can permanently stick? I am on Rebug 4.75.3 DEX .. I get the error code 8002A224 if I don't go on rebug toolbox and change my active PS3 ID. Thank you !!!

To fix this connect your PS3 with control console if you have CCAPI installed on your PS3. Then in control console there is a option to set your boot IDPS (Console ID). If you do this you won't have to set your active PS3 CID each boot up.

Now im having trouble it says " Error occurred while searching for IDPS" XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX Blocked out my CID

REMOVE THE (-) when typing cid

You can set your IDPS and PSID to boot through CCAPI but since you're on DEX you remove the spaces and Dashes before you set it so itll be 32 characters long.

I understand but I still manage to get the same error.. I think the number in my cid that is 82 is suppose to be changed to 84 , I don't know .. 000000010082 , should be changed to 00000084 as I was doing my research. let me know if you could help or Skype ? thank you very much

tbh im having the same error and what happened was i wanted to play bops 3 well i was on ita so i went to rebug 4.75.3 and now im banned. i think the same has happened to you , i have no clue why but it is what it is time for new cid i suppose. on ita i couldnt get the damn thing to load i got the license error then the game loaded and froze at the spinner. on rebug the game works and the graphics are better although the games graphics are shit naturally but shit man im about to just buy it for my p4 and play legit.

That error normally occurs when there in an invalid IDPS(CID)... have you tried changing your IDPS using this method with PSNPATCH...

Step 1: Create a .txt document

Step 2: Inside the .txt write idps= write your 32 character long IDPS here

Strep 3: Save the .txt as psnpatch.cfg

Step 4: Put psnpatch.cfg on the root of your USB...

Step 5: Plug the USB into your PS3 then run PSNPATCH

Step 6: Once PSNPATCH is running click "Square" on your controller and click "X"

It's bkpps3.bin by the way and he can use something such as "Dumpstatistic" to extract the IDPS from the nor/nand chip
