Post: How do you go about making money as a modder?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Modding is easy money. People want mods and always will but I wonder how you guys make money from modding? I'm guessing through recoveries but how do you get a following? I've tried a few times but nobody ever pays and I'm stuck in this loophole of modding > not getting payed > get banned > pay for a new cid. I just want to know how the community goes about it, I'd love to be able to not worry about cids Sal

Well I first started out modding just for fun. I always was fascinated by mods and playing online with them. I always loved hearing peoples reactions by helping them out in the games or just doing fun & funny stuff. Like trolling and playing with friends. After a while on GTA I learned more on how the game works and how to avoid bans. You don't just jump into making a modding service to make money. Yes it is "easy" money I suppose. But you need too fully understand what you are doing so you don't need too worry about being banned. Not just your CIDs are at risk but so are your customers. People don't want too buy from someone who doesn't know what they are doing because the main thing they fear is bans. I do not know what games your planning to mod but what I would do right now is do some research. Ask questions in the modding forms. Read what people are talking about; about that game. I believe that you are fully capable on success on making money from modding but to me you sound inexperienced. It takes time and patience. I started out bad myself but I learned from my mistakes and we correct those mistakes. Like I said it just takes time and research.

Best of luck

i dont actually make much money fo it cos i dont sell most of the time, also i dint have paypal and i had no use for psn cards, but yeah i find modding is really fun and there is always great things u can do.

if u are gonna sell i would recomend to keep ur prices rather low as this will make u look good infront of others
- give good customer service, will make u favourable
- mod accounts quickly and dont muck around the customer
- gain a good reputation
- offer a warnety of some sort, but also make things clear in ur TC
- do some sort of bulk deals that will work out cheaper with losts of variations
- make your thread neat and readable, will be visually pleasing to the customer

Haha thanks man but I think you may have misunderstood I have been modding for a few years now I just wanted to know how I would about gaining a following. I am getting a new cid at the end of the month that normally last me close to a year, I just want to be able to make enough money to buy more cids pretty much.

Spoof cid, use antiban, disable syscalls. Money needs to be paid upfront, not after.
