Were you dumping a backup or were you flashing a patched bkpps3.bin? Do you have a valid dump?

Are you able to get a dump currently or does the red light start flashing almost immediately after turning on your console? If that's the case, you might want to check your fuses (F6001 and F6002) with a multimeter. Applying to much pressure to the NOR can cause these fuses to short circuit.

Check your fuses. You might want to roll over to ps3hax help forum. They're more helpful when it comes to hardware issues.

What colour are the LEDS on your console... are what error code was the E3 Flasher giving you... if it was 1, 5,6 that means that the clip hasn't made contact with all the pins of the Nor chip.
