Try re-installing CCAPI on the ps3 and run it and after the ps3 reboots then try connecting it to the ps3.

on ps3 go to settings and get i.p address then open CCAPI on laptop/pc and click "File" in the top left corner, then "add new console" type in the i.p address. job done
