Wrong section m8... But yes you need to downgrade to 3.55 or buy a 3.55 PS3

What model is the slim? It will be on the Serial Number CECH-xxxxx.

That model cannot be jailbroken, unfortunately. You'd have to buy a PS3 that is already downgraded to 3.55 OFW or a PS3 that has been jailbroken already. Check eBay and your local Craigslist.
