I run rebug 4.75 drex , I use Webman and I set Auto fan control at 70C .

Btw is a SLIM ps3

Yeah pretty much every modder takes this step to not over heat.. i did this two times on two different ps3's and works like a charm... just give it a month and it should drop from 70 to 58.

Well , I know from my past experience with PC overclocking that thermal paste needs an "accomodation" period but I tought is around few hours of stress . I'll check after 1-2 weeks to see if something changes , if not I will reapply thermal paste , maybe I just dropped a bit too much on RSX .

it should be alright as long as it dosent go into the 75-80 degree mark

IDEAL RUNNING TEMPS= LOW-MID 50'S crank up the fan until you achieve those temps, 68c is tooooooo hot, mine cfw's never see above 55c and i wouldnt have it any other way

Same here and also changed thermal paste under CPU IHS. I get temperature around 36, 45 and 50 while RSX stays below 45. What does Webman Auto fan control at 70C do?

your temps are good , my fan is noisy at 70 , is almost like before changing paste

I am so pissed , I changed thermal paste 3 times (mx-4) , because first time I've put too much , second time too less and now it seems I've put enough but I still get ~9 degree difference between CPU and RSX in GTA 5 , my cpu stays between 59-63 and RSX stays almost all the time at 68-70 .

I run rebug 4.75 drex and I use webman , I've set auto mode at 70c and fan stays almost all the time at 40% and is a bit noisy .

Also you could use a laptop fan to keep it even cooler... however, I wouldn't suggest you buying a fan which is blowing air into the exhaust since that can cause air pockets.
