Post: Jailbreak Runs Slow

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); the last couple of days my jailbreak has been laggy all round at the xmb. sometimes it will freeze up then unfreeze any help? its slow when trying to load up things etc. PLEASE HELP

Could be 2 things, either your ps3 is overheating or you're running out of free space. (Deleting messages and unnecessary stuff helps)

Im sure if they post here they have looked at that already. for a quick fix start ps3 in system recovery and rebuild the database. if its still slow, take out the hdd and format it on pc to fat 32 then re-insert the hdd and install the CFW, if it still lags then you will need to replace your hdd. hope ive helped

Yet you're saying the same thing but in different words? Okie. And pointless putting the hdd in a pc when the ps3 has the same exact option already on it.

Not exactly, resetting the ps3 in recovery wont wipe the hdd completely because it will leave the firmware installed. so if his firmware is the problem then reset may be no good

Then wouldn't reinstalling the firmware or installing another firmware be a simpler option?

Yes it would Smile I was just stating that resetting through the ps3 and formating through pc are actually different
