I have a brother that plays on it sometimes but he wouldnt have updated it because i specifically told him not to and hes not that immature to do it. And also even if he did, wouldnt the install package file folder and app_home folder completely go away? Someone please help. Can i try formatting the hard drive?

Did you try reinstalling your cfw?

Yes if your brother updated the system the cfw would be gone,
Try going into safe mode and reinstalling your cfw

So he couldn't have updated to ofw because it would have removed the app_home folder right? Also, I don't even remember what cfw I have on it:/

You'll have to try 4.70, 4.75, 4.76 CFW and see which one is yours, I would tell you to just go in ReBug toolbox if you have it and press system information but you cant

No, your definite answer is to use the 9.99 Rogero downgrader. Works all the time unlike the rebug downgrader.
