(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm basically stuck in a soft brick with a recurring update error, "The data is corrupted. (8002F2C5/B5)", No update will be accepted by the PS3. The recovery menu makes no difference from the soft brick screen.

Region code CECH-2003A.

I was on Bozex Mac Spoofer 3.55 DEX when I did the conversion (brick may be to do with the syscon hashes because of that). First a hard brick, which I fixed with Rebug 4.46.1 bios (as my PS3ita bios give me RLOD, so if the fix needs an E3 Flasher soldered fully then no problem), then I went into a soft brick, and that's where I keep getting 8002F2C5. I've patched the 4.46.1 bios with Rogero's Auto Patcher v0.04 to 4.40 instead of 4.46, as told by You must login or register to view this content., but I'm yet to find a 4.40 DEX custom firmware. I've also done a full format of the HDD and done the same with a completely new HDD.

Firmwares I've tried (firmwares in green I tried after patching bios):

(CEX)
3.55 OFW
4.76 OFW
Rogero RSOD Downgrader
Rogero v3.7 3.55 Downgrader
Ferrox 4.46
Habib 4.50

(DEX)
3.55 Bozex MAC Spoofer
3.55 Downgrader
3.55 Downgrader OFW
Rebug's 999 Downgrader
Rogero's DEX DG v2
3.55.4 D-REX

4.41.3 D-REX
4.46.1 REX
4.46.1 D-REX
4.75.3 D-REX
4.50 PS3ita

I can send you my bios if you need them as my original CID is banned, and let me know if I need something additional to fix this like an E3 Card Reader.

EDIT:
I checked the bios and I only have one bad sector (patched bios)

You must login or register to view this content.

EDIT 2:
I've patched the bios to 3.55 and validated them (fixed the bad sector in the screenshot above)

I was trying to convert to CEX from DEX (FSM DEX method) on 3.55 Bozex MAC Spoofer, once my CEX rflash.BIN flashed I exited out of FSM using the Lv2diag.self and I got a hard brick (RLOD/3 beeps). It was easily repaired with backup bios I have but the problem is these are for Rebug 4.46.1 DEX (REX FW I think) as my PS3ita bios put it back into hard brick, so I reset my HDD via PC and that did nothing. I've also tried byte reversing and patching my bios but byte reverse gave me GLOD and patching gave me hard brick.

I have another HDD with I think 3.55 DEX on it, I can't tell as I cannot run that either.

Any specific FW I can try? I've tried:

(CEX)
3.55 OFW
Rogero RSOD Downgrader

(DEX)
3.55 Bozex MAC Spoofer
Downgrader
3.55 Downgrader OFW
Rebug's 999 Downgrader
3.55.4 D-REX
4.41.3 D-REX
4.46.1 REX
4.46.1 D-REX
4.75.3 REX
4.50 PS3ita

I can send you my bios if you need them as my original CID is banned.

I don't have an FSM Dongle or an E3 Card Reader, let me know if I need one.

I would leave you my Skype but it's been hacked...

Try and go into recovery mode to update the system.
if that doesn't work I would put in a freshly formatted HDD and try installing a firmware...
The firmware doesn't matter you can chose anyone but ( I recommend 4.7+ Rebug )

Yeah I've formatted the Hdd on a PC and it just started giving me error 8002F225 unless I reset it in the recovery menu
I have tried the recovery menu installation method also can REX be installed while on DEX? I don't use rebug so I can't remember

I know but can i install REX on dex?
Is the problem to do with the NOR or the HDD? I might have to try and get an E3 card reader if it's the hdd
