(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am on PS3ITA 4.60 DEX and would like to upgrade. I have tried multiple different CFW's and even tried going on 3.55 OFW and my PS3 gives me an error code This data is corrupt 80029cca. The way I did it was by putting the OFW on a flash drive in a folder PS3 which has a folder named UPDATE in it and renaming the CFW to PS3UPDAT.PUP (which to my knowledge is all you need to do) but I plugged it into my PS3 and the update is there but it's blacked out and it will give me the same error. I also just tried to get on 3.55 in safe mode, and got the error code: The data is corrupted. 8002F2B5 I'm quite a noob at doing all this, and I figure I must be doing something wrong, or my PS3 has something wrong with it.

Tried that, still get the same error code. I tried different flash drives, and downgrading was just like a last resort saying maybe I can get back on 3.55 OFW I wont have problems getting on other CFWs, which I couldn't get back on 3.55 either anyway... I fear the only thing is that my PS3 is broken in some weird way.
