I can guide you through the process to getting you online and modding games :p

First, you will need to be on a higher firmware in order to allow you to spoof.

I'd recommend you upgrade to Rebug 4.75.3 REX.

Simply put that .PUP file on a USB in this order:

Make a folder on the root of the USB, meaning inside of no folders, called PS3. Inside of that, make another folder called UPDATE. Inside of the UPDATE folder, put the .PUP file you downloaded and rename it to PS3UPDAT.PUP. Make sure everything is capitalized the same way I have it typed.

Then, plug that into the PS3. Go ahead and do a System Update via Storage Media and begin to update.

After it is done, download You must login or register to view this content. file.

Put the .pkg on the root of the USB and plug that into the PS3. Go to Package Manager --> Install Package Files and click on the file you put in.

Once it is done installing, open it.

Go to Active Spoof and click on the first option.

It should begin writing to your console.

Make sure not to turn it off in this process otherwise it could damage the PS3.

Once that is done, simply make an account, not a main account, and put it into the PS3, but do NOT sign in.

Now, you want some games.

Simply download them online or you can back them up from the CD through Multiman.
