It starts up fine, but sometimes when i launch a game or do something, it just crashes and brings me to a screen (See Below)
And, sometimes games launch fine, sometimes they dont, sometimes its when i launch something else aswell.

This screen reads.. *Ahem* "The system software cannot be run correctly. Press the PS
button to try to restart the system.
If the system cannot be restarted, you must reinstall the system software.
Connect storage device media that contains update data of version 3.20 or later, and press the START and SELECT buttons at the same time.
For more information on how to obtain update data, refer to the SCE Website for your region."

Okay.. when i press the PS button to restart, it restarts fine and everything works fine unless my ps3 hates me and gets back into the loop.
Is there any fix to this at all??
If i really have to i can just put 3.55 back on it and re-jailbreak it but i would prefer not too..
I have a Playstation Slim with Rebug 4.70 D-rex i think..
Please help if you guys can

Unfortunately I believe you may actually have to perform an update on your PS3. I would honestly think you should just go to OFW 3.55 through the recovery menu with no disc inserted or Ethernet cord inserted. (No internet at all, really).

EDIT: If anyone pre-owned the PS3, they most likely used the noFSM method. In other words, yes I'm quite sure your PS3 is corrupt.

Thanks.. ahh.. if i put 3.55 back on, if i rejailbroke my device, would it still be corrupt or would it be fine?
I did buy it off ebay, but the guy is a trusted seller and i have had one before but never had this error, thank you for your help

Yes, if you are able to successfully update the firmware then this should solve your problem...
