I've been experiencing problems with my 80gb PS3, everytime I try to play any game at all it just shuts off completely and then blinks a red light after sounding two BEEPS. I'm so confused on what to do. I'm on CFW rebug 4.76.1, and I've tried other firmwares, formatting, etc and nothing seems to work. Any ideas?
Like I can chill on the XBM but then as soon as I play a game and try to go into a match it just shuts off completely.

IF you mean when you launch a game it shuts off and beeps, then you may have currupted games or files
If you mean your ps3 shuts off and beeps in the middle of gaming, then I'm afraid your console is probably overheating and is most likely experiencing YLOD(yellow light of death), if at least first stages of it.

This most likely means that the RSX chip may be dying out... has this problem just recently started or has it always been like this?
