I want to start modding but i dont know how?, i Got some questions

1. What is Best?, USB Mods or Jailbreak?

2. Can i play online with USB Mods?

3. Is it easier to get banned with USB Mods?

Don't bother with USB mods. Jailbreak is the way to go.

If you only have one console, Then keep that as your "legit" ps3. If you're prepared to dive right into the world of ps3 modding then pick up a cheap phat or slim model, making sure the model numbers are compatible for jaibreak. Then you'll need an E3 flasher and you'll need to revise how to downgrade/install mods etc..

If you just want to dive right in to modding, then buy a jailbroken ps3 from a reliable source such as eBay. There are people who sell on NGU depending were you are from.

Advisory: make sure you do plenty of research before attempting to mod, as you'll more than likely end up being CID ( console ID banned ).
