I'm also quite new to modding, I have had my CFW PS3 for about 3 weeks now, I use PSNinja + PSNPatch and try my hardest not get CID banned.

This has been happening the past week and I just don't know why, I recently set up some open ports and a DMZ server on my router to open the ports for black ops 2, it's working perfectly and had no issue for 3 days or so, then I got signed out of PSN one day when I came back from walking my dogs I tried to sign back in, it would just come up with an error code something like "80710092" or "8002A(something)"
So I reset my router, it worked fine for 15 minutes then got signed out, I kept repeating this over and over to the point where I gave up, so I thought "Let's try again tomorrow it will work then" I was wrong... I come back after school and the same error appears so I reset my router again, it worked for about 40 minutes then I got signed out again. I got fed up at one point and thought if i set my router to factory new settings it would work, and it did for about 2 days then the error started happening again. It's really bugging me and I just don't know how to fix it, I think it's an error with my router i'm not sure. I'm with SKY broadband and they constantly play up, we've had 3 of their routers and they're not the greatest. But I can connect to games on my PC fine and stuff like that with good connection on servers and can download things with little spikes sometimes of download speed (I have a bad download speed) It's 1.5MB/s DL and 317KB/s UP It has it's down times but mostly good.

I also thought I was console banned so I tested that theory out and went on my OFW PS3 and tested it, the same error happened. I'm really stuck here I don't know what to do, can anyone try and come up with some suggestions? It will be really thankful

Well clearly if you have the ability to sign in correctly and you're on DEX, then your debug settings are correct as well as everything else. I can tell you right now that it's your Broadband connection/internet provider. I recommend using Comcast or Verizon FIOS. As Comcast is cable so its strongest, and Verizon FIOS has fiber optics so it's quite stable.

We're thinking about switching to BT, but the funny thing is, if I reset my router to factory default settings, it will work for 2 days then go back to errors it's really wierd :/
